How much does it cost?
Grocery delivery is a high-end service that is not for everyone. Basic delivery service is $149.95 per month and includes one shopping/delivery every week. Additional "on demand" trips for miscellaneous items are just $20 each.
Who will be doing my shopping?
Let's just say that we call them "Granny Shoppers" for a reason. We are exceptionally picky. Non-smokers. Background checks. Clean and well presented. Friendly and professional. Only the very best will do. After all, this is your food we're talking about.
Will I always have the same shopper?
Yes. Your shopper is assigned specifically to your account. Only in cases of illness or vacation will a substitue shopper ever be used.
What grocery stores do you provide service for?
We only shop Albertson's stores.
Will my food be sitting around?
Absolutely not. Your shopper will shop the Albertson's closest to your home. Your shopper will shop only for your items. Your items will be loaded into the delivery vehicle and delivered from the grocery store directly to your home. When done, your shopper will return to the store and begin again for their next client.
What do your delivery vehicles look like?
Our delivery vehicles are unmarked, non-descript Chevy Tahoe's, Chevy Suburban's or similar.
What day and time will my food be delivered?
You can choose the day and time that your food is delivered. Days and time slots are available on a first come, first served basis, so don't delay. Delivery is available seven days a week from 9am to 5pm.
Do I need to be home to receive my groceries?
The basic $149.95 per month service includes kitchen countertop delivery that you must be home for. However, for an additional $79.95 a month you can provide your shopper with keys or electronic access to your home and your shopper will put all your groceries away for you in the locations you designate. You need not be home for the upgraded service.
What items will you shop for?
If Albertson's sells it, we'll shop for it. The only exception is prescription pharmacy.
I'm a bit crazy. Will you follow my unique instructions?
Whether you want your milk pulled from the back, only want the banannas if they're still a bit green, or have any other special requests, we can do that! Your preferences will be added to your account and we'll follow your special instructions every time.
How can my Shopper provide such detailed service?
Each of our shoppers has no more than 6 clients per day and a total of no more than 30 clients in all. Between a limited client base and the notes we keep in your account, we've got you covered.
How do you know what items I want to purchase?
Most of our clients begin by making "one last trip" to the grocery store. Please provide us with your receipt and we'll create your starting list. From there, you can manage your account online as frequently as you like to add or remove items as you please.
Is there a contract term?
Shopping services are provided on a month by month basis. You can cancel anytime.
How does the billing work ?
We will keep your credit or debit card on file. We will pay for your groceries at Albertson's and then BoiseIdaho.com will charge an equal amount to your card on the same day. Your monthly BoiseIdaho.com billing will charge against your card on the first day of each month.
